Tip 1: Breathe Your Way to Calm

(Sunday’s tip: Focus on What You Can Control)

In our busy lives, we often forget the power of breathing to bring us back to the present moment and help realign our focus. Taking control of your breath can be a game-changer for managing stress, and anxiety and helping you focus on what you can control.

Try this easy breathing exercise:

  • Sit comfortably and close your eyes

  • Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 counts

  • Hold for 4 counts

  • Exhale gently through your mouth for 4 counts

  • Repeat 5 times

Who says comfort food can't be good for you? Exploring nutritious versions of your favorite dishes can bring joy to your plate and health to your body.

Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Swap regular pasta for zucchini noodles in your favorite pasta dish

  • Try cauliflower rice instead of white rice in stir-fries

  • Use Greek yogurt as a base for creamy dips
