Where to Find the Best Deals on Hoka Shoes

Meaning “to fly” in Maori, Hoka was founded in 2009 so that anyone spending long hours on their feet could get the ultimate experience with optimum cushioning and stability. Less than 15 years after its founding, Hoka is bringing in revenues topping a billion dollars a year, so it’s clear that people are loving this brand. But with quality comes high prices, and Hoka is no doubt in the high end price-wise. Thanks to Brad's Deals, we found the best prices on Hoka.

  1. "The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it." - Henry David Thoreau

  2. “Making a decision was only the beginning of things. When someone makes a decision, he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he had never dreamed of when he first made the decision.” - Paulo Coelho - The Alchemist* - one of our favorite books!

2 Tips

1) How Small, Daily Choices Shape Our Future Happiness

Why:

We often spend lots of time thinking about big life decisions, but it's actually the small, everyday choices that can impact our happiness the most. Those quick decisions we make without thinking - skipping a workout, putting off a conversation, or breaking a small promise - can add up over time. When we look back, these little moments often create more regret than we expect.

How to Make Better Daily Choices:

  1. Take a Pause
Start your day with 5 minutes of quiet reflection or meditation. This helps you become more aware of the choices you make throughout the day. By training your mind to be more present you will be more attuned to the small stuff, that can otherwise go unnoticed.

  2. Notice Your Patterns
Pay attention to the choices you make each day. Do you often skip a workout and regret it later? Do you keep putting off calling a friend? Writing these down can help you spot habits you'd like to change.

  3. Choose One Thing
Pick just one small behavior to focus on this week. It could be as simple as:

    • Speaking kindly to yourself

    • Really tasting your morning coffee

    • Taking a deep breath before speaking

  4. Write Down Your Wants
When you notice yourself wanting something (like scrolling social media or skipping the gym), write it down. Ask yourself: "Is this small action taking me in the right direction or veering me off course?" Remind yourself, that the small actions matter.

Your life is shaped by hundreds of tiny choices each day. By paying attention to these small moments, you can catch bad habits before they build into big regrets.

2) Set a Simple Limit on Your Belongings

Why:

Having too many things can drain our energy and cloud our minds. By choosing a personal limit for our possessions, we create space for what truly matters. We also force ourselves to make better decisions, when we know buying one thing means getting rid of another. As an added bonus, when we're surrounded only by things we genuinely value, we feel lighter and more joyful.

Here's how to get started with your possessions limit:

  1. Take Stock

    • Go through your things room by room, and actually work out how many things you own. You might be surprised by the number.

  2. Choose Your First Target

    • Pick a number that feels right for you - maybe it’s 100 less than how many you currently have.

    • Make it challenging but achievable

  3. Try the "One In, Two Out" Rule

    • You may like to sort through your things and get rid of a lot at once

    • If not, you can gradually reduce your total items with this rule

    • When you bring in something new, let go of two items

  4. Think Before You Buy

    • Once you get to your limit either continue reducing with the one-in-two-out rule

    • Or, switch to the one-in-one-out rule

    • Keeping this rule in place will force you to think before you buy, knowing you will have to let something go to get it

Remember: A simpler space creates room for more joy and peace in your life. Start small, be patient with yourself, and notice how it feels to live with less.

What's a simple step you can take right now to bring you closer to the life you truly want?
