2 Tips

1) Remove Doubt by Making Today Count

Here’s why:

We all know those moments when we question our path or doubt ourselves. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like we are making progress and we are still a long way from our end goal. But here's the thing: real success isn't about making huge leaps - it's about the small wins we achieve each day.

When we focus on what we can do right now and make today count, we build strength and confidence naturally. By taking small actions that bring us toward our goals, doubt gradually disappears.

Here are some simple ways to make each day count:

  1. Start With Purpose

    • Take 5 minutes each morning to write down 3 important tasks

    • Keep it simple and clear - what matters most today?

    • Is it exercise, meditating, or achieving a work goal?

  2. Choose What Really Matters

    • Look at your list and ask: "Which of these tasks brings me closer to my goals?"

    • Focus on the steps you can take today

  3. Stay Present

    • Doubt often manifests because we are worrying about the future. We start telling ourselves stories, about what could go wrong

    • To counter this, give your full attention to whatever you're doing

    • Notice when your mind wanders and gently bring it back

    • Whether you're working, exercising, or talking with friends - be there fully

Helpful Resources:

  • Keep an eye out for Wednesday’s newsletter to learn how to work with self-doubt in your meditation practice.

  • Try the Todoist app if you’re looking for a tool to help track your most important tasks.

Remember: You don’t have to win the year, just worry about doing something to win the day and the year will take care of itself.

2) Try a 7-Day Self-Belief Challenge

Why:

Many of us think we need to feel confident before taking action. But confidence grows when we take action first. By stepping out of our comfort zone, we build trust in ourselves and discover new strengths.

Here's your guide to a simple 7-day self-belief challenge:

  1. Make a clear commitment.

    • Write down your 7-day challenge in your journal or planner - somewhere you'll see it every day.

    • “I [your name] commit to believing in myself for the next 7 days”.

  2. Start each morning with these words: "Anything is possible."

    • Put this reminder on sticky notes around your home - maybe on your bathroom mirror or fridge.

  3. Try the "act as if" approach.

    • Watch the below video which explains this idea really well.

    • Essentially, when doubt creeps in, ask yourself: "How would my ideal self handle this?" Then do that.

    • Prioritize taking action, based on how your ideal self would act, rather than sitting with doubt.

  1. Daily reflection:

At the end of the day ask yourself:

    • What actions did you take today?

    • How did it feel to "act as if"?

    • What surprised you?
