2-Week Generosity Challenge

"2-Week Generosity Challenge"

Hello and welcome to MindfulMornings midweek motivation! - The compliment to Monday’s newsletter: Small gestures, big impact: your daily superpower

We hope this email helps you find the courage to say ‘no’…. gracefully of course, and practice generosity with our 2-week generosity challenge.

Midweek Motivation

1) The "Heck Yeah" Policy

Struggling to know when to say no? The "Heck Yeah" Policy offers a simple solution: only commit to things that make you say, "Heck yeah!" If your enthusiasm falls short, it's okay to say no.

This approach helps filter out activities that don't align with your priorities and passions. Think of it as decluttering your schedule. By saying no to less-exciting opportunities, you create space for activities that truly energize you.

As mentioned in our email at the start of the week, to implement this you must pause before committing to something. Consider if the opportunity excites you and, if not, gracefully say no.

We searched for a unique and effective generosity or kindness challenge to motivate you to perform acts of kindness and create a habit of generosity. When we couldn't find one we liked... we made our own!

The challenge runs over 14 days, is designed to cost very little (it's not about donating lots of money), and aims to help you build a habit of generosity. It starts small and focuses on acts of kindness you can perform each day. You can find the challenge here.

Generosity Challenge Newsletter Course

We've also created a free newsletter course to accompany the challenge. You’ll receive one email each day for 14 days. Each email includes that day’s challenge and additional guidance to help you achieve it. You can sign up using the link below.

Something Interesting

This week we’ve been practicing Yoga Nidra to refresh and invigorate us. If we've had a bad night’s sleep, or just feel like we're lacking energy, we turn to Yoga Nidra. This 30-minute guided session is one of our favorites.

If you're practicing in the morning, we recommend first having a cup of coffee, and then completing the above session. By the end of the session, you'll not only feel refreshed from the Yoga Nidra, but the coffee will be kicking in and you'll be ready to tackle the rest of your day.

Thanks for reading!

With gratitude,

MindfulMornings
